My day job as the SEO of a software company means I am constantly involved in the selling process, both online and face to face. So I am always on the look out for new techniques and advice and when a fellow internet marketer recently recommended Duct Tape Selling by John Jantsch I was keen to find out why he had recommended it.
I downloaded the sample chapter for my Kindle and ended up reaching for my pen and notepad just a few pages in. By the end of the sample chapter I had made 15 notes on websites I needed to visit and find our more about.
Needless to say I purchased the book and have now downloaded and read the whole book. I have to say it is one of the best sales and marketing books I have ever read.
By the end of the book I had 139 electronic bookmarks on my Kindle and I now use two websites everyday as a result of advice just in the first sample chapter.
I have made a note in my diary read the book again in 3 months to make sure I am getting the most from the advice in the book.
